Before you buy
Everything your device needs to know
A quick reference before you activate — what an eSIM actually is, and how to confirm your phone can run one.
What's an eSIM?
An eSIM is a SIM card built into your device instead of a plastic one you insert. Your plan is loaded onto it digitally, which means setup takes minutes and there's nothing to lose in transit or swap between phones.
- No physical card to wait for or misplace
- Switch or add plans without a store visit
- One less piece of plastic in circulation
Will my phone work with it?
Most phones from the last few years support eSIM, but a few conditions need to be true first.
- Your device supports eSIM hardware
- It's unlocked from any single carrier
- It hasn't been jailbroken or rooted
Not seeing your model listed?
Our compatibility list is reviewed regularly, but new devices and regional variants are added faster than any list can keep up. If your model isn't there, check its eSIM support directly with the manufacturer before you buy — some regional versions of the same phone don't include an eSIM chip.
One profile, built for the trip ahead
Pick a plan scoped to a single country, a region, or global coverage, and it's ready before you land — no local SIM counter, no queue.
Skip what roaming usually costs
Carrier roaming rates are built for occasional use, not a full trip. A data plan sized to your dates is typically a fraction of the cost, with no surprise charges on landing.
From checkout to connected
No courier, no physical card — the whole flow lives on your phone.
Choose a plan

Scan to install
Your QR code lands by email. Scan it in your phone's camera and it installs itself.
Turn it on
Switch on the new plan in your settings whenever you're ready — before you fly or after you land.
